Heavy rain flooded Highway 7, water flooded into houses in Con Cuong
(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:30 p.m. on August 13, a nearly 2-hour rainstorm caused National Highway 7 through Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district to be flooded and overflow into people's houses, affecting people's lives and traffic.

Heavy rain caused water in the mountain pass, especially in Buc Bo valley, to rush out onto the road, causing flooding on National Highway 7, the section passing through Chi Khe commune, causing traffic jams. Water flooded into the houses of nearly 10 households living nearby, many houses were flooded 20-30cm high.
Mr. Phan Dang Trung in Thuy Khe village, Chi Khe commune said: The rain was so heavy that the water level in my house rose 30cm, and some items such as the refrigerator and tables and chairs got wet.

Many households living on both sides of the road had to bail out water to prevent it from entering their houses. On National Highway 7, the section through Chi Khe commune, flooding has made it difficult for vehicles to pass.
At this point, the water has receded, although it is still raining in Con Cuong district. Therefore, people need to be proactive to prevent damage to people and property.
