On August 6, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau district started planting flowers along the roadsides of the villages. This is a common policy of the commune to create a friendly landscape for the villages.
This activity was strongly supported and actively participated in by villagers, in which, Hoa Tien 1 and Hoa Tien 2 villages, villagers "bustlingly" planted flowers on the road leading to the village, this is the area to build a community tourism village model.
The flower varieties planted are all locally sourced such as: Portulaca, chrysanthemum, apple blossom... collected from households that have previously planted them.
Mr. Sam Van Kinh - Secretary of Chau Tien Commune Party Committee said: "The idea of planting flowers along the roads in the village comes from opinions at the commune People's Council meetings. Previously, many households in Chau Tien commune were aware of planting flowers in front of their houses to create beautiful landscapes. In the coming time, the commune will "cover all the roads and alleys in the villages with flowers".
According to this plan, the commune will soon have 9 flower roads.
