Young man who posted information insulting the police force was summoned
(Baonghean.vn) - The act of posting articles insulting the reputation of the police force on social networks by Mr. Ho Van Tam (born in 1988), residing in Phu Thinh block, Quang Tien ward (Thai Hoa town) violated the Law on Cyber Security.
At around 12:30 p.m. on December 19, Mr. Ho Van Tam used his personal Facebook account named "Ho Tam" to post and share an article with content that defamed and insulted the reputation of the police force posted on the page "Thai Hoa Classifieds".

On the same afternoon, Thai Hoa Town Police verified that the owner of the above Facebook account was Mr. Ho Van Tam (born in 1988), residing in Phu Thinh block, Quang Tien ward (Thai Hoa town) and had a working session to clarify the behavior and violations of regulations on responsibility for using social networking services.
At the police station, Ho Van Tam admitted to using social networks to provide and share information to defame the reputation of the police and was forced to remove the information on his personal page and other pages.
Mr. Ho Van Tam's behavior violatedCyber Security Lawand Point a, Clause 1, Decree 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020 of the Government. Accordingly, the administrative penalty for the above act is from 10 to 20 million VND.
Currently, Thai Hoa Town Police are completing procedures to handle the case according to the provisions of law./.
