Nghe An: International conference on English teaching and learning methods
(Baonghean.vn) - For 4 days from September 6 to 9, Vinh University and the US Embassy co-organized the International Conference on English Teaching and Learning Methods (Vinh TESOL).

The workshop was attended by more than 200 lecturers, teachers, students and pupils interested in the field of English teaching and learning from 25 provinces and cities in the country and 6 different countries.
The workshop consists of two parts, from September 6 to 8, there will be a training course on English teaching methods led by experts from the US. September 9 is the main content of the workshop, including presentations by speakers and parallel reports by workshop participants.

The conference attracted over 80 scientific reports. The main topics revolved around the application of modern methods in teaching English: Improving learners' listening - speaking - reading - writing skills; Using different tools and equipment to serve teaching as a foreign language; Researching factors affecting the teaching process, analyzing pedagogical strategies...
Through that, we will share about the reality of teaching English in Vietnam in particular and in the world up to now, common limitations and give new ideas to attract learners and improve the effectiveness of teaching English.
