Nghe An: A woman was struck to death by lightning
(Baonghean.vn) - While leading a cow in the rain, a woman in Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district was struck and killed by lightning.
Mr. Phan Duc Quang - Chairman of Dong Van Commune People's Committee said: At around 5:30 p.m. on May 11, Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, born in 1989, in Thung Mon hamlet, Dong Van commune, came home from work in the middle of rain and thunder. Seeing her family's cow tied in an empty lot about 100 meters from her house, she hurriedly went out to lead the cow home.
However, when Ms. Hoa had just led the cow about 5 to 7 meters, she was struck by lightning, killing both her and the cow.

Upon receiving the information, Dong Van commune authorities promptly visited, encouraged and provided initial support of 2 million VND for the family to bury Ms. Hoa./.
