Immediately after the test results were available, Nghia Lam commune locked down the entire Minh Lam hamlet with a total of 310 households and 1,202 people. The locality set up checkpoints at the entrance to the hamlet, sprayed disinfectant, and took samples of people in the area.

1. LVC Patient, male, born in 1971. Address: Nghia Lam Commune, Nghia Dan. Treated at the Department of Rehabilitation - Provincial General Hospital from October 1 to October 28. After returning home, on November 3, the patient was sampled for a rapid test with a positive result, then the sample was sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital, on November 4 the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
2. VTD patients, female, born in 1971. Address: Nghia Lam Commune, Nghia Dan. The patient took care of her husband, who was a LVC patient, at the Rehabilitation Department - Provincial General Hospital from October 1 to October 28. After returning home, on November 3, the patient was sampled for a rapid test with a positive result. The sample was then sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On November 4, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
