(Baonghean.vn) - On August 21, floodwaters completely receded from Do Luong town. However, the aftermath left behind a huge amount of mud and trash. Immediately after the water receded, local people actively raked mud and cleaned up trash to soon stabilize their lives.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Secretary - Head of Block 1, Do Luong town, this flood, the town has 185 households in Blocks 1, 7, 8, 9 flooded, of which Block 1 alone has 169 households. Next to that, 5-6 households in Trang Son commune were also flooded. Due to flood water, some houses in the area have been damaged, cracked, collapsed walls, and fallen tiles.
