* From June 12 to 14, 2024, in Hanoi,The Central Inspection Commission held its 42nd meeting.Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the meeting.
The announcement stated: The Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Finance violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing the Ministry of Finance and a number of organizations and individuals to violate Party regulations and State laws in state management and advising and promulgating mechanisms and policies on issuance and trading of individual corporate bonds, including enterprises belonging to Van Thinh Phat Group and An Dong Group; in state management of the budget related to International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC) and enterprises in the AIC ecosystem.

During the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy proposed: The German Business Association in the Asia-Pacific region should create favorable conditions for Nghe An to participate in introducing its potential, advantages, investment attraction policies and answering questions from members during the Association's activities in Germany; at the same time, support the connection with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam so that Nghe An can work specifically to prepare for the above activities.

* On the same day, the delegation of Nghe An province visited Hamburg, Germany. At the meeting, Mr. Ian James - Vice President of HPC Asia Pacific region informed the delegation about the activities of HHLA Group. This is a multinational group among the top in Europe in the field of seaports, currently managing seaports in Hamburg (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), Trieste (Italy) and Odessa (Ukraine).
Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy and the delegation also directly visited and listened to an introduction to the operating procedures of Hamburg port, in which HHLA Group owns 31% of shares and the Hamburg state government owns 69% of shares.

* According to the Tax Department, the Nghe An Provincial Tax Department has just issued a documentrequest to revoke the business registration certificateagainst two real estate companies for their tax evasion. They are Long Cuong Real Estate Company Limited and Lam Giang Company Limited.

* On the morning of June 15, more than 2,000 candidates attendedGrade 10 entrance exam to Vinh University High School for the Gifted.
This year's 10th grade entrance exam to Vinh University has many new features as candidates will have to take a comprehensive exam to get a base score instead of getting scores from the 10th grade entrance exam like previous years.

*For many years, dozens of households in Minh Tien village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau districtliving in fear on the banks of the eroded Hieu River, potentially unsafe when flood season comes.
Mr. Sam Thanh Hoai - Chairman of Chau Tien Commune People's Committee said: Along Hieu River, passing through Minh Tien village, there are nearly 42 households living, of which 22 households are directly affected by riverbank erosion. Most of the households living here have lived for over 40 years, most of them have been granted land use right certificates. In addition, there are 6 households that have not been granted land use right certificates but still build houses along the river.

* At 9:10 p.m. on May 15, 2024, Mr. LHT drove a car with license plate 37A - 282xx on the roadfailure to comply with alcohol testing requirementsof the person performing official duties.
For not complying with the alcohol test request, Mr. LHT was fined 35 million VND and had his driver's license revoked for 23 months, starting from June 14.
