Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits and presents gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions, sacrifices and losses of wounded and sick soldiers, and those who have contributed to the Fatherland.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), on the morning of July 16, Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in Nghe An province.

Attending the delegation were comrades: Pham Thanh Ha - Deputy Head of the Office of the President; Nguyen Ba Hoan - Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Nguyen Tien Dung - Assistant to the Vice President.

Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Vice President visited the Nghe An Mental Health Care Center for War Invalids (in Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District). The center is responsible for managing, nurturing, treating, nursing and rehabilitating 90 war invalids, mentally ill soldiers and meritorious people, and their mentally ill children in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
Next, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center (in Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District). The Center was established in 1974 with the task of managing, nurturing, treating, nursing and rehabilitating 62 seriously wounded and sick soldiers from the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her emotion when visiting the Nghe An Mental Health and War Invalids Nursing Center and the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center; and expressed her joy when seeing the wounded soldiers healthy, happy and excited.
The Vice President emphasized that during his lifetime, Uncle Ho always cared about wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and people who have contributed to the Fatherland. He said: Wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families of martyrs are people who have contributed to the Fatherland. We must be grateful, love, and help them.

Imbued with Uncle Ho's ideology, over the past decades, the Party, the State and the whole society, in each stage of the country's development, have always had many policies and guidelines that are increasingly better for those who have contributed to the Fatherland. This year, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Party, the State and localities have organized many practical activities to remember those who have contributed to the Fatherland.
The Vice President said that the war has been over for decades, but the consequences of war still haunt many wounded and sick soldiers and families of those who have contributed to the country: "We have an independent, free and peaceful life, and have achieved great achievements in socio-economic development like today. The Fatherland and the People will forever remember and be grateful for the contributions of previous generations."

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed the deep gratitude of the Party, State and People to the wounded and sick soldiers and those who have contributed to the Fatherland.
"Despite suffering from many illnesses and pains, the wounded and sick soldiers have shown the spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers, always overcoming physical and mental pain to live happily and healthily, setting an example for future generations to follow," the Vice President emphasized.
The Vice President also praised, acknowledged and thanked the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghe An province for their efforts in socio-economic development, improving people's lives, and always devoting resources, affection and responsibility to caring for those who have rendered great service to the country. At the same time, he hoped that the province would continue to pay more attention and care to these people in the coming time.
