Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh beats the drum to open the new school year in Anh Son district

Anh Son 1 High School in Anh Son district was built 57 years ago. The school currently has 1,537 students, of which 506 are in grade 10 in the 2022-2023 school year.

In the 2021-2022 school year, Anh Son 1 High School was awarded the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" by the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; 12 cadres and teachers achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level; 12 teachers achieved outstanding achievements in teaching and nurturing excellent students.

Last school year, Anh Son 1 High School also had 25 students who were excellent at the provincial level in all subjects. In the recent high school graduation exam, the school had 100% of grade 12 students pass the graduation exam, of which, 3 students with high graduation scores were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Nguyen Huu Sang acknowledged the high results that teachers and students of the school have achieved in the 2021-2022 school year; in this new school year, Secretary of the Anh Son District Party Committee suggested that the school continue to promote further studying and following the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh, studying moral examples, and making each teacher a role model for students to follow.

At the same time, maintain the goal of comprehensive education combining physical education, life skills and improving students' ethics; make the greatest effort to achieve many high achievements towards the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son...

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee presented a gift of 10 million VND to Anh Son 1 High School on the occasion of the new school year; Regiment 335 presented flowers and gifts to Anh Son 1 High School; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented 30 gifts to 30 excellent students of the school, each gift worth 1 million VND.

On this occasion, former students of Anh Son 1 High School donated 27.5 million VND to encourage poor students to overcome difficulties and study at the school.
