Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long inspects preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An
On the afternoon of June 26, comrade Le Thanh Long - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister and the working delegation directly inspected the preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An province.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and his delegation inspected preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam at the exam site of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Vinh City).
Huynh Thuc Khang High School has 995 students taking the exam, with 42 exam rooms, the second largest in the province. The examination council has arranged 141 officers to take the exam to ensure that the exam is safe, serious, thoughtful and in accordance with regulations.

The examination council has coordinated with departments, branches and localities to complete the content and develop plans to provide maximum support for candidates.
Reporting to Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long said that up to now, preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An province have been completed, ready to welcome and create the most favorable conditions for candidates to safely attend the exam.

Previously, identifying the important nature and purpose of the High School Graduation Exam, the Provincial People's Committee established the High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee; coordinated the organization of the exam and exam implementation plans from the provincial to local levels, assigning specific responsibilities to each member.
In Nghe An province, there are 36,956 candidates registered for the exam, of which 1,352 are independent candidates. The number of candidates registered for the natural science exam is 9,698, and the number of candidates registered for the social science exam is 26,426.

Nghe An Provincial Examination Council arranged 70 examination sites, with 1,671 examination rooms and mobilized about 8,000 people to work at examination sites in the province, of which, 3,849 were invigilators and supervisors. All examination sites were arranged at schools with good facilities and convenient transportation.
The Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for the Examination have reviewed related work contents; focused on doing a good job of propaganda; directed the Education sector to focus on reviewing for students, paying special attention to schools in remote areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas.

Sharing the advantages and difficulties of Nghe An province, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong noted that the Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An province must ensure absolute safety in printing and transporting exam questions and papers, safety in fire and explosion prevention, traffic, security and order during the exam.

Concluding the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long assessed that, with the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the coordination between relevant departments, branches and organizations, up to now, the preparation work for organizing the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An province has been completed.

Emphasizing that this is the final exam to be conducted according to the 2006 General Education Program, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that the Prime Minister's instructions in Directive No. 15 and Official Dispatch No. 60 must be fully implemented with the motto and viewpoint: Good preparation, no subjectivity, safety and creating the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long wished Nghe An province a safe, effective and regulated exam; at the same time, he believed that with the tradition of studiousness of Nghe An people, the province would have a successful exam and achieve the highest results.
Speaking at the inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that the inspection of the exam preparation work by the Deputy Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An shows the deep concern of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister for the organization of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that, strictly implementing the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, up to this point, the preparation work for the organization of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An province has been fully and thoughtfully implemented, completing all the contents and requirements set out.
Despite difficulties in terms of location, scale, number of candidates and weather conditions, Nghe An province affirms that it will not be subjective in organizing the 2024 High School Graduation Exam; at the same time, it commits to organizing the exam seriously, safely, conveniently, with quality and efficiency, meeting the requirements of the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee; meeting the wishes of parents as well as the aspirations of students taking the exam.
