Vinh Market Management Board informed that since 7am this morning, the authorities have coordinated with the traders to count and start collecting goods; checking fire prevention and fighting work to hand over to the security force. On the 6th day of the Lunar New Year, Vinh Market will officially reopen after Tet.

Next, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue inspected and grasped the business situation at Big C Vinh supermarket, especially fresh products, vegetables, fruits, and flowers serving the Lunar New Year.
Currently, Big C supermarket ensures adequate supply of goods to serve the people during Tet, without shortages or shortages during the peak shopping season.

Regarding the issue of ensuring food hygiene and safety, implementing Plan 746/KH-UBND dated December 17, 2019 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on Inter-sectoral inspection and examination of food safety in Nghe An province in 2020.
At the provincial level: Establish an interdisciplinary inspection team (Health, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development; Police and Fatherland Front Committee) and specialized inspection teams on food safety of Departments and Sub-Departments under the Department, including the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department; Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
At district level: Establish interdisciplinary inspection and examination teams on food hygiene and safety at district level to directly conduct inspections and examinations at food production and business establishments and food service establishments under management authority in the area.
At the commune level: The Commune People's Committee establishes an interdisciplinary inspection team on food hygiene and safety at the commune level to conduct food safety inspections at establishments in the area under its management authority.
By January 15, 2020, the province had established 167 inspection teams to inspect 991 establishments: production, processing, business, food services and discovered 133 establishments in violation, of which 32 establishments were fined and many others were subject to additional penalties and remedial measures.
