According to Ms. Ngo Thi Van - owner of Ngo Van flower cake establishment, making flower cakes is not difficult but requires perseverance; this job is stable and works all year round. Customers come to buy, sellers do not have to go far to sell.Each package of flower cakes includes 6 pieces; on average, flower cake production facilities consume about 500 packages per day.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, a flower cake seller in Dong Hieu commune for many years, said: "Every few days I come here to get flower cakes to sell. Many customers buy them because they find them delicious and of guaranteed quality. Especially students far from home, every time they come back home, they buy them as gifts from Nghe An."

The flower cake making profession has appeared in Thai Hoa for 30 years. Back then, the grandparents of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang in Tan Lien block, Hoa Hieu ward, who had experience in making cakes, lived in Thailand for a while, and after returning home, brought back the secret of making flower cakes.

Ms. Hang is the third generation in her family to continue the flower cake making business. "Food, clothing, and important work all come from the money from selling flower cakes. The family's Hoa Sinh flower cake production facility has also become known to many people over the years. Especially during the sunflower festival, the cakes are not made in time for tourists to come back to visit, sightsee, and enjoy" - Ms. Hang shared.
