This morning (January 8), the Land Clearance Council of Hung Nguyen district held a final dialogue with the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Loc (Block 10, Hung Nguyen town) to resolve problems related to the land clearance work to implement the VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park Construction Project (VSIP Nghe An Project).
According to the representative of the Land Acquisition Council of Hung Nguyen district, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc's family rented public land managed by the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen town. After the VSIP Nghe An project was implemented, because the land that Mr. Loc's family was using was within the planned area for project implementation (partly within another project), the Land Acquisition Council of Hung Nguyen district carried out procedures for measuring, counting and issuing decisions on land recovery...

The total land area recovered from Mr. Loc's family is more than 11,000m2.2, the compensation value for water surface assets, trees, and crops was determined to be more than 843 million VND, with 2 Land Recovery Decisions No. 1163/QD-UBND dated August 16, 2023 and No. 550/QD-UBND dated April 10, 2023 of the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district. Although the functional agencies and local authorities have conducted propaganda, mobilization, and responded to written petitions... However, Mr. Loc's family believes that the authorities' determination of the origin of his family's land as public land is incorrect, so they do not agree to receive the money...
At the final dialogue, the representative of the Compensation and Site Clearance Council of Hung Nguyen district also informed that if Mr. Loc's family does not receive the money, the enforcement and construction protection session will be carried out on the morning of January 9, 2025.

However, after analysis, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc's family decided to receive the money right at the meeting and agreed to hand over the site to the local government.
After Mr. Loc's family agreed to receive the money, Mr. Nguyen Huu Ha - Chairman of the Land Acquisition Council, Vice Chairman of Hung Nguyen District People's Committee directed Hung Nguyen Town People's Committee and organizations and unions to support the family in moving furniture, cutting trees, harvesting fish to soon hand over the site to the construction units. In particular, the deadline is before February 28, 2025, the site must be completely handed over (mainly the housing part). In addition, the local government also committed to sending a document requesting the Provincial People's Committee to support the remaining costs on the land. After the Provincial People's Committee has a policy, the District People's Committee will carry out the preparation of compensation and support records according to regulations.

Previously, in the preparation for the dialogue this morning, Mrs. Tran Thi Ly's family, also residing in Block 10, Hung Nguyen town (one of the two households included in the final dialogue plan on the morning of January 8, 2025) received compensation. Thus, up to this point, the compensation and site clearance in Hung Nguyen town to implement the VSIP Nghe An project has been basically completed.
