The number of people fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Nghe An exceeds 1 million
(Baonghean.vn) - Thus, nearly 1/3 of the province's population has been fully vaccinated. In particular, in the next few weeks, localities such as Vinh City and Cua Lo Town will be fully covered with vaccines.
On the evening of November 23, Mr. Tran Minh Tue - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health said that today, the whole province has injected 86,853 doses of Covid-19 vaccine. Most of the injections on the day were the second dose, thus bringing the total number of people fully vaccinated in the province to over 1 million.
Specifically, the province has administered more than 2.6 million doses of vaccine. 1,584,460 people have received at least 1 dose; 1,076,358 people have received 2 doses. The number of people who have received 2 doses has reached 32.6% of the province's population and 44.8% of people aged 18 and over. Currently, 2 localities in the province, Vinh City and Cua Lo Town, have completed the first dose of vaccination for people. It is expected that within the next few weeks, these 2 localities will be fully vaccinated.

Regarding the nearly 100,000 doses of vaccine provided for children aged 12 to 17, Mr. Tran Minh Tue said that they are expected to arrive in Nghe An on November 24. "As soon as we arrive, we will immediately distribute them to localities to start vaccination," Mr. Tue said.
To date, the whole country has administered more than 110 million vaccine doses, of which more than 43 million people have received full doses./.
