Department of Agriculture and Rural Development provides support to build 7 gratitude houses and 120 Tet gifts for poor households in Quy Chau
On January 13, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development visited, presented charity houses and Tet gifts to poor and disadvantaged households in Chau Thuan commune, Quy Chau district.

Chau Thuan commune is a difficult commune of Quy Chau district, currently has 806 households (with 3,633 people) and currently has 254 poor households, 235 near-poor households (accounting for 60.7%).
Responding to the Housing Construction Program for poor households and households with housing difficulties in Nghe An province in the period of 2023-2025, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has registered to support the construction of 100 houses with a total value of 5 billion VND.
Of the total 100 houses above, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has registered to support the construction of 50 houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in Chau Thuan commune with a total value of 2.5 billion VND.

In 2023, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development supported the completion of 20 houses. In 2024, it continued to support the construction of 7 houses and is expected to continue to complete the construction of the remaining 23 houses by the end of 2025.

In Chau Thuan commune, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and representatives of sponsors presented symbolic keys to 7 households receiving housing support. At the same time, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Thai Binh Seed Group Joint Stock Company presented 120 Tet gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to poor households in the area.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quy Chau district also presented 10 Tet gifts to 10 disadvantaged households in Chau Thuan commune.
