Thai Hoa dialogues with people about land acquisition and compensation for Nghia My industrial cluster

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 6, at Nghia My commune, the Standing Committee of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee organized a dialogue with households and individuals related to land recovery and site clearance for Nghia My industrial cluster.

The dialogue session was chaired by comrades Pham Quang Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee; Hoang Phu Hien - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Committee.

Implementing the policy of site clearance at Nghia My industrial cluster to attract investment for economic and social development, accordingly, this time on the recovered area of ​​3.87 hectares of Nghia My industrial cluster, 49 households were affected, including 4 hamlets: Yen Tho, Xuan Tho, Long Ha and Long Thuong (Nghia My commune).

The Town's land acquisition plan includes compensation by land (implementation, clause 2, article 74, Land Law 2013) and has carried out land improvement in the Dot field for the people.

At Dot field, the Town People's Committee has built traffic infrastructure and an internal canal system to ensure stable agricultural production for households. At the same time, the Thai Hoa Town People's Committee has a mechanism to support plowing and improving the land, and provide fertilizers and seeds to the people.

Many households participated in the dialogue.

To ensure democracy in the process of mobilizing households, so that affected people can understand the land acquisition policy, attract investment, and develop the economy, Thai Hoa Town has established 6 working groups and conducted 7 dialogues with households. Before the dialogue on the morning of July 6, 22 households agreed to receive production land and were granted Land Use Rights Certificates by the Town People's Committee, and had started crop production, while 27 households in Yen Tho and Xuan Tho hamlets had not yet complied with the compensation and support plan for land acquisition.

At the dialogue, based on the viewpoint of listening to people's aspirations and ensuring democracy, 20 opinions representing affected households were raised at the dialogue.

The general opinion of the households agrees with the policy of attracting investment in industrial development of the Town, people petitioned for difficulties due to illness, old age; no need to produce, want to be compensated with money; Dong Dot has bad land, lack of water for production, request support to increase production...

Comrade Hoang Phu Hien, Chairman of the Town People's Committee, shared the difficulties of the households and the Town will have additional support policies based on legal regulations.

At the dialogue conference, comrade Hoang Phu Hien, Chairman of the Town People's Committee, on behalf of the Town Party Committee Standing Committee, shared the difficulties with the people, and at the same time clearly stated that the implementation of land acquisition and clearance that the Town is implementing at Nghia My Industrial Cluster is in accordance with the provisions of law, there is only one option which is compensation with production land, on the basis of implementing the regulations on land improvement support, production support...

The town will consider supporting policies for households in particularly difficult circumstances, allocating budget to support production from 5 crops to 10 crops (5 years). This is the maximum application and support of Thai Hoa town for households. If households do not agree, the town will take measures to enforce land recovery after one week (after July 12) according to regulations and procedures of the law./.
