Although they have the ability to provide great shade and create beauty for the streets, these trees are easily broken and fell during the storm season because their branches and leaves are luxuriant and their canopy is wide, making it difficult to stand firm against strong winds. Taking advantage of favorable weather after storm No. 3 passed, workers of Vinh City Green Parks Joint Stock Company were divided into small groups, spreading out to the streets to trim trees and deploy preventive measures during the rainy and stormy season. Photo: Quang An

This year, Vinh City will carry out tree pruning early, prioritizing densely populated central streets and traffic areas, school areas; critical roads, riverside roads, roads undergoing sidewalk and underground infrastructure renovation, which could put trees at risk of instability. Photo: Quang An
