Vinh City honors 291 excellent students and teachers in the 2017-2018 school year

In the 2017-2018 school year, the city's education and training sector achieved many outstanding achievements in key education.

In this year's National Excellent Student Competition, Vinh City had 61 students winning prizes and 1 student selected for the International Chemistry Olympic team. At the secondary school level, 77 students achieved provincial excellence; in the National Science Innovation Competition, 4 students won prizes, including 2 students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted who won first prize and were selected to participate in the international competition held in the US in July 2018.

With these outstanding results, Vinh City has honored 240 excellent students and 51 teachers who have made many contributions to nurturing excellent students.

This is an activity organized annually by Vinh City to recognize and honor outstanding examples in studying and training, thereby encouraging teachers and students to continue to strive and achieve higher achievements to continue the tradition of studiousness of the homeland, competing in studying and training for the future career.

On this occasion, Vinh City Association for Promotion of Education also awarded 67 gifts worth a total of 15 million VND to students with high academic achievements and poor students who overcame difficulties to study well.
