According to the reporter's records, candy stalls are mainly concentrated in the West communal house area of Vinh market. These types of candy are sold by weight with prices ranging from 30,000 - 50,000 VND/kg, higher-end types are advertised as "imported" candy such as chocolate, gummy candy, cereal candy with prices ranging from 120,000 - 150,000 VND/kg...
The inspection process showed that many types of candy sold here still do not have labels to prove their origin, especially candies, bird's nest candies, Tet jams... even though the authorities had regularly warned them before.

It is worth mentioning that when they saw the authorities, the traders quickly took out labels to stick on their goods to deal with the situation. A stall owner explained: "All the candies here have a clear origin, but when we took them from the big bags and divided them into small bags for retail sale, we "forgot" to put the labels on them...".
After conducting the inspection, the authorities drew up a record and fined 5 traders for selling goods without labels proving their origin, and confiscated 5 tons of candy for destruction.
