Nghe An province awards prizes for the Journalism contest on models and typical examples of 'Skilled Mass Mobilization'
The organizing committee selected 44 works to award prizes in 4 categories: Television, radio, print newspaper, and electronic newspaper.
On the afternoon of October 15, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee held an award ceremony for the 2024 Journalism Contest on typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models and examples.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Also attending were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Le Hong Vinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.
Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Hong Hoa - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Pham Tuan Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee; Pham Thi Hoan - Secretary of the Provincial Enterprises Party Committee; Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Nguyen Quynh Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; Nguyen Thi Thom - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, along with representatives of agencies, units and award-winning reporters and collaborators.
The Press Contest on writing about typical models and examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in 2024 was organized by the Steering Committee of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement of Nghe An province, launched from June 3, 2024.
The contest aims to raise awareness of the political system about the role of mass mobilization work in general and the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in particular; to discover models and typical examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" to honor, spread and replicate in the political system and society.
After more than 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received 210 works from agencies, units, reporters and collaborators.

The entries in the journalism contest on models and examples of "Skillful Mass Mobilization" reflect on collectives and individuals who are outstanding in "skillful" propaganda, mobilization and organization of implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. These activities have contributed positively to the socio-economic development, national defense, security, Party building and the political system in Nghe An province.
The Organizing Committee has selected 190 entries that meet the criteria for the preliminary round, including 4 categories: Television, radio, print newspaper, and electronic newspaper.
The entries have a clear change in the investment in the work, rich in the choice of topics. Many works have content and form that demonstrate the effort, intelligence, sense of responsibility, love for the profession and creativity. The emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization and typical models are approached and exploited from many different angles.
In addition, the works also closely follow current issues of the province, cultural and social issues that are of interest to the people. Some works are of discovery, scientific criticism, propose practical solutions, provide positive information, have the power to spread, move and inspire strongly in society. Thereby, we can clearly see the innovation in the content and methods of mass mobilization work.
After 2 weeks of judging, the contest's jury and the Provincial Steering Committee for the "Skilled People's Movement" emulation movement selected 44 best entries to award prizes, including: 4 First prizes, 8 Second prizes, 12 Third prizes and 20 Encouragement prizes for authors/author groups. At the same time, the Organizing Committee decided to award Certificates of Merit to 2 groups that have done well in promoting and launching the contest and have many entries of good quality.
| The Journalism Contest on typical models and examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in Nghe An province was held for the first time in 2023. The contest received 178 entries from 100 authors from more than 60 agencies and units. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee decided to recognize 44 entries that won First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes. |
