On the morning of February 13, the authorities and functional forces of these wards simultaneously launched a campaign to inspect compliance with epidemic prevention and control measures at service establishments and restaurants.

In Truong Thi ward, it is recorded that businesses providing services with high risk of infection such as hair salons, beauty salons, massage parlors, dance clubs, karaoke bars, internet cafes, video games... have all closed and temporarily suspended operations according to regulations.

For food and beverage services, basically all strictly follow the suspension of direct customers and take-away sales. However, there are still a few restaurants that still welcome direct customers with a small number or do not put up take-away sales signs. These restaurants have been warned by the ward force, and if they repeat the offense, they will be handled according to regulations.

InLe Mao ward, the authorities have divided into many groups to conduct patrols, focusing on major routes such as Hong Bang, Dinh Cong Trang, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai... Most businesses strictly comply with epidemic prevention measures. Some establishments that violate the regulations have been warned and will be punished if they intentionally violate in the coming days.

Through discussion, Vinh City leaders said: After the Lunar New Year, the Covid-19 epidemic broke out strongly in the area, all wards and communes continuously recorded Covid-19 infections in the community. Currently, only Hung Hoa commune is the only green zone in the area. The city has directed localities to strengthen propaganda work, tighten epidemic prevention measures with the highest goal of controlling outbreaks as soon as possible, while promoting the vaccination campaign to increase community immunity, and soon stabilize production and business in the area.

From the beginning of the epidemic season to the end of February 10, Vinh City recorded nearly 5,000 Covid-19 infections. Of which, from January 1, 2022 to now, over 3,000 F0 cases have been recorded in 25 wards and communes. The whole city currently has over 2,500 F0 cases being treated at home./.
