(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the decision to socially isolate the entire Vinh City according to Directive 16 from 0:00 on August 17, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Vinh City has decided to re-establish the control system to prevent and control the epidemic at 14 points on major roads and 29 points in wards and communes.
The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province and Vinh City People's Committee have decided to implementcity-wide social distancingfrom 0:00 on August 17 to control, trace, detect F0 cases early and limit the spread of the disease in the community.

Given the complicated developments of the epidemicCovid-19, especially with the new strain spreading rapidly, Mr. Mai said that on August 15 and 16, the commune's broadcasting system continuously broadcast urgent announcements to trace and search for local people related to Vinh wholesale market, while reminding people to strictly follow the isolation spirit of Directive 16. The commune also continued to implement the "4 on-site" motto (command, force, means, logistics), to enter the fight against the epidemic.
Mr. Le Sy Chien - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee said: The city will mobilize the city police force; police of wards and communes; militia and other coordinated forces to perform duties at the checkpoints.
According to Mr. Chien, from the reality of the quarantine period 2 months ago, on the night of August 16, the city set up 14 checkpoints on major roads managed by the city and 29 checkpoints managed by wards and communes, to ensure the city is isolated according to Directive 16 from 0:00 on August 17.
