Vinh City: Amending and supplementing traffic restriction time on some streets
(Baonghean.vn) - To ensure consistency and serve traffic regulation in Vinh city, on April 6, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 30/2022/QD-UB amending and supplementing the routes and restricted traffic times of vehicles participating in traffic.
Specifically, according to this Decision, the Provincial People's Committee amends and supplements a number of regulations on routes and travel times.traffic restrictionof vehicles participating in traffic onVinh city areawas issued together with Decision No. 70/2016/QD-UBND dated December 6, 2016 and is now amended and supplemented as follows:

- For specialized vehicles: domestic water supply vehicles, traffic rescue vehicles, specialized vehicles to handle sudden incidents of electricity, water, flooding due to rain, road subsidence, broken branches, fallen trees are allowed to operate 24/7 every day.
- Tree trimming vehicles, road cleaning vehicles, vacuum cleaners, bridge and road repair vehicles and machines, and forklifts that carry people to work at heights are not allowed to operate on the streets during rush hours (from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the morning and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the afternoon).

- Specialized vehicles for transporting garbage, manure suction trucks, sludge suction trucks, and sludge transport trucks serving drainage are only allowed to operate on the streets from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
- Passenger shuttle buses serving to pick up and drop off passengers on fixed passenger transport routes are operated according to Decision No. 21/2020 dated September 30, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee on the management of shuttle bus operations in Nghe An.

- Vehicles transporting postal items such as letters, packages, and parcels of goods accepted, transported, and delivered via the postal network are allowed to operate 24/7; vehicles transporting postal items of enterprises designated by the Prime Minister to maintain and manage the public postal network and provide public services are allowed to stop and park at postal service points and must ensure traffic order.

Also in the above decision, the Provincial People's Committee added the routes to Appendix 2 issued with the regulations on the name of Cu Chinh Lan street with the starting point being Le Duan street and the ending point being Nguyen Thiep street; Nguyen Thiep street with the starting point beingTran Phu Streetto the end point is Cu Chinh Lan street; Tran Canh Binh street has its starting point at Nguyen Du street and its ending point is Ngo Thi Nham street;Nguyen Son Streetstarting point is Tran Phu street and ending point is Vinh Tan urban area ring road; Ngo Gia Tu street starts from Phan Boi Chau street and ending point is road 72.
This Decision takes effect from April 18 and abolishes Point a, Clause 2, Article 1 of Decision No. 23/2019/QD-UBND dated June 7, 2019 on supplementing and abolishing a number of contents of the Regulations on routes and restricted traffic time of vehicles in Vinh City issued under Decision No. 70/2016/QD-UBND dated December 6, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee.
