Dismantling a billion-dollar gambling ring in Vinh City with 7 women involved

Previously, in early January 2020, the Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police discovered that in Vinh City there was a large-scale, tightly organized, closed gambling ring in the form of lottery and number betting.
After collecting sufficient documents and evidence, at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2020, more than 20 officers and soldiers of the Criminal Police Department simultaneously arrested, summoned, and urgently searched 4 subjects residing in Vinh City, including: Dang Ba Tuan (born in 1972, residing in Le Mao ward); Nguyen Thi Ha (born in 1971), Nguyen Thi Phang (born in 1959) and Nguyen Thi Hong Quang (born in 1980), all residing in Dong Vinh ward.

At 10:30 p.m. the same day, the Criminal Police Department arrested and searched the house of Hoang Anh Tuan (born in 1974, residing in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City). The investigation agency seized more than 100 million VND, 20 mobile phones, and many books and cables related to gambling.
Initially, the investigation agency proved that on the day of arrest, the amount of money the subjects used to gamble was more than 1 billion VND.
Expanding the investigation, the remaining 4 subjects in the ring living in Vinh City turned themselves in: Nguyen Thi Hanh (born in 1980, residing in Cua Nam ward), Cao Thi Bang (born in 1956, residing in Hong Son ward), Le Thi Tam (born in 1962, residing in Hung Dong commune) and Pham Thi An (born in 1956, residing in Dong Vinh ward).
The police identified the ringleader of this gambling ring as Hoang Anh Tuan, and the other suspects were all Tuan’s “branches”. The investigation agency has prosecuted the above 9 suspects for gambling.

According to an investigator from the Criminal Police Department, Hoang Anh Tuan organized a lottery and betting network for quite a long time. Tuan used many phones to receive lottery and betting boards from the lower "branches" and then transferred them to a phone with lottery and betting calculation software. Then he texted the winning and losing results back to the lower "branches" for payment.
