Vinh University announces 6 admission options for 2022

Vinh University has just announced the ProjectAdmission2022. Accordingly, this year, the school will enroll over 600 full-time university students with 6 admission methods, namely: Direct admission; Admission using the results of the 2022 high school graduation exam; Admission based on high school academic results; Combined admission; Admission based on high school academic results or exams/subjects of the 2022 high school graduation exam combined with aptitude tests for the two majors of Preschool Education and Physical Education; Admission based on the results of the 2022 Thinking and Capacity Assessment Test.

According to this plan, in addition to the old plans, in 2022, the school will have 2 new admission methods. Specifically, with the combined admission method (expected 10% of the target), admission is based on the results of grade 12 study and 2 exam subjects ofhigh school graduation examaccording to the main combination of the recruitment industry.

With the admission method based on the results of the Thinking and Capacity Assessment Test, the school also plans to take 10% of the target. Admission is based on the results of the 2022 Thinking Assessment Test of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the results of the 2022 Capacity Assessment Test of Hanoi National University.

This year, Vinh University has also raised the conditions for direct admission. Accordingly,The school continues to directly admit candidates who are students participating in excellent student teams; students from specialized high schools; students with international English certificates.

The conditions for direct admission are that candidates have graduated from high school in 2022, have 3 years of high school with excellent grades, good conduct, and must satisfy one of the additional criteria similar to 2021. However, for students with international English certificates, the School only directly admits candidates with international foreign language certificates IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80 points or higher (valid for 2 years as of August 1, 2022).

Vinh University has expanded its admission methods in line with the current trend of universities. This is both an advantage and also forces candidates to consider choosing appropriate admission methods. In particular, the current admission methods of schools, instead of using the results of the high school graduation exam, many schools have organized their own thinking assessment exams. That requires candidates and schools to change their teaching, learning and exam preparation methods instead of reviewing according to traditional subject combinations as before./.
