That is the project Cognitive engagement management using brainwave technology: Application in schools to improve learning outcomes of students Le Dinh Quoc and Bui Tung Lam.
The second project is Brainwave Device Management: “Research applied in patient room” by Nguyen The Vinh and Pham Ba Huy Hoang.
Both projects are guided by Dr. Do Mai Trang and Master Nguyen Duc Toan.
It is known that topics related to brain waves are quite new but have high practical applications. In particular, the project of Nguyen The Vinh and Pham Ba Huy Hoang is an experimental research topic to find applications of brain waves in life, specifically helping to provide new methods to support the lives of paralyzed people and the elderly.
The project builds a model room for people who are unable to move and only use brain waves to perform some basic operations such as asking for help, turning on the light, and pulling the curtains.
The remaining project by students Le Dinh Quoc and Bui Tung Lam presents a new approach to evaluating the quality of lectures and proposes strategies to adjust and improve teachers' teaching methods to help students absorb lessons at the most effective level.
This method also aims to assess the level of mental engagement of learners corresponding to a specific form of teaching or integrated teaching, and proposes the use of interaction index to evaluate the quality of lectures.
This is the first time students from Vinh University High School for the Gifted have won an award in this competition.
