Central Inspection Commission announces conclusions on violations in Tra Vinh province
The Secretary of Tra Vinh City Party Committee accepted the conclusion of the Central Inspection Committee and affirmed that any violations will be handled accordingly.
On the afternoon of August 8, the Central Inspection Committee had a working session in Tra Vinh province and officially announced the conclusion on violations against the Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh City Party Committee.
Mr. Le Van Han - Secretary of Tra Vinh City Party Committee said that the official conclusion is completely similar to the information previously published in the press.
"We completely accept the conclusion of the Central Inspection Committee. Any violations will be handled accordingly," Mr. Han said.

At the conclusion announcement, the Central Inspection Committee requested the Tra Vinh City Party Committee to prepare the next steps for handling. First, the individuals who committed violations will be self-criticized. After that, the Central Inspection Committee will announce the time to convene meetings to review the roles and responsibilities of each individual.
Previously, from July 24 to 26, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Committee held its 28th meeting. At this meeting, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and concluded a number of contents, including the inspection content when there were signs of violations against the Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh City Party Committee.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Tra Vinh City Party Committee was irresponsible, lax in leadership, direction, inspection and supervision, allowing many very serious violations to occur in implementing the Party and State's policies on supporting people with revolutionary contributions to improve their housing; decided to exempt and reduce land use fees against regulations for a long time, causing great losses to the state budget.
Regarding violations and shortcomings of individuals, Mr. Diep Van Thanh, Mr. Pham Van Tam, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh City in the period of 2011 - 2016 and Mr. Tran Truong Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh City are jointly responsible for violations of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and personally responsible for violations in organizing the implementation of the Party and State's policies on supporting people with revolutionary contributions to improve housing.
According to the Central Inspection Commission, the violations of Mr. Diep Van Thanh and Mr. Tran Truong Son are very serious; the violations of the Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh City Party Committee and Mr. Pham Van Tam are serious; the violations of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam are serious enough to require consideration and handling of responsibility. The above violations have caused a large loss of state budget, negatively affected the reputation of the Party Committee and the City government, and the trust of the people, to the extent that they must be considered and disciplined.
Mr. Ngo Chi Cuong, Nguyen Trung Dung, Tran Van Danh, Le Van Han, Secretaries of Tra Vinh City Party Committee for the terms 2010 - 2015, 2015 - 2020, are responsible as leaders for the violations and shortcomings of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee. It is necessary to conduct a review and consider responsibilities according to regulations./.
