According to the news released at 9:00 p.m. on July 16 from the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, in the past 6 hours, there has been heavy rain in the North Central region, some places have had very heavy rain such as: Cua Hoi: 100 mm, Hoa Duyet: 75 mm, Linh Cam: 67 mm, Vinh: 72 mm.

It is forecasted that on July 17, the provinces in the region will continue to have rain with common rainfall from: 30 - 50mm, the largest 70 - 120mm. Warning of the risk of landslides and flash floods in mountainous and midland areas and flooding in low-lying and urban areas in the provinces in the region. Particularly high risk are the districts: Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Hung Nguyen, Vinh City (Nghe An); Huong Son, Huong Khe, Vu Quang, Ha Tinh City (Ha Tinh).
