Nghe An Newspaper and Vixito High-Tech Cement Joint Stock Company donated 70 tons of cement to Con Cuong district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 4, at Muong Qua High School, Nghe An Newspaper coordinated with Vixito High-Tech Cement Joint Stock Company to support 70 tons of cement for Con Cuong district.
Attending the award ceremony were comrades: Hoang Sy Kien - Director of Nghe An Department of Construction; Colonel Tran Dang Khoa - Deputy Political Commissar, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command; Ngo Duc Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper.
On the side of Con Cuong district, there were comrades: Nguyen Hoai An - Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee; Pham Trong Binh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the People's Committee of Mon Son commune, Muong Qua High School.
On behalf of Vixito High-Tech Cement Joint Stock Company, there were Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vixito High-Tech Cement Joint Stock Company; Ha Dinh Ninh - Deputy Director of the company.
This is an activity to implement Nghe An province's call for socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the western region of Nghe An, especially in disadvantaged border areas. Accordingly, Nghe An Newspaper has called on Vixito High-Tech Cement Joint Stock Company to donate 70 tons of cement to Con Cuong district, worth more than 100 million VND.

Specifically, the program supports Muong Qua High School with 50 tons of cement; supports the People's Committee of Mon Son commune (Con Cuong district) with 20 tons of cement to deploy the construction of essential infrastructure works.

This is the first activity within the project "Renovate schools with Vixito" organized by Vixito High-tech Cement Joint Stock Company. According to the plan, in the coming time, the company will implement many activities to support investment and construction for localities, especially targeting schools in difficult mountainous districts in Nghe An province.

Muong Qua High School is a school in the border commune of Mon Son, serving the education of ethnic minority children in the two communes of Luc Da and Mon Son (Con Cuong district). The school has 471 students, of which nearly 50% are from poor households, nearly 95% are children of the Thai ethnic group.

Currently, Muong Qua High School is striving to be recognized as a national standard school in phase 1 by the 2024-2025 school year. However, due to difficult conditions, the school's facilities are still lacking, and some items have not been completed. Therefore, the companionship and support of businesses is a very practical activity at this time to help the school soon complete its facilities, ensuring the quality of teaching and learning.
