After reporting to the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police, Yen Thanh District Police established a special project, mobilizing experienced investigators and detectives to coordinate with the Provincial Police's professional department to fight.

During the investigation, the Task Force encountered many difficulties because the two subjects Tang Tien Do and Thai Cong Chinh often operated on the move, had a wide range of activities, and had very secretive and sophisticated methods of operation.
With the synchronous and effective use of professional measures, at 11:30 p.m. on September 14, in Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, Yen Thanh District Police presided over and coordinated with Nghe An Police Department, Drug Crime Investigation Police Department and Binh Hung Hoa B Ward Police, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City to successfully arrest two subjects, Tang Tien Do and Thai Cong Chinh, for the act of "Illegal drug trafficking". The seized evidence included 13 kg of ketamine.

At the police station, the two subjects confessed to their crimes. Their modus operandi was to collude with Vietnamese people residing in European countries to illegally transport drugs by air to Vietnam under the guise of packing drugs into labeled European milk cartons.
The case is currently being continued to be expanded.
