Arresting the 'boss' who built a drug shack in the forest
(Baonghean.vn) - A "big shot" who specializes in supplying and retailing drugs to addicts has just been arrested by Con Cuong District Police.
On June 19, Con Cuong District Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining Kha Van Nam (34 years old, residing in Cai village, Cam Lam commune, Con Cuong) to investigate the act of storing and illegally trading drugs.

Unlike other people in towns and villages, Nam often set up shacks in the forest to sell drugs, only going down to the village late at night to get food and drinks. He threw away drugs and escaped into the deep forest many times when he suspected the police were following him.
To facilitate drug trafficking, Nam hired a series of heavily addicted people to act as his henchmen.drug distributiongo to all the communes in the area with the payment of free drug meals.
More dangerously, sometimes Nam organized drinking parties, when people were tipsy, Nam offered drugs, causing many people to become addicted and become Nam's "customers".
Con Cuong District Police established Project 621N, quickly investigated and arrested the subject on the rainy night of June 12 when the subject and other addicts were gathering to eat, drink and use drugs in the house of a junior named Vi Van Than, born in 1992 in Cai village, Cam Lam commune.
The District Police Investigation Agency has prosecuted and detained Kha Van Nam and Vi Van Than for the crimes of illegal drug trafficking and possession, and the remaining 5 subjects were administratively handled for illegal drug use.
According to Con Cuong District Police, Kha Van Nam is a sophisticated and cunning subject in carrying out illegal drug trafficking, causing outrage among all classes of people.
