On the afternoon of October 10, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Thi Thao - Doctor of Nghe An Northwest General Hospital; Moong Van Tinh - official of Que Phong District Youth Union, had a meeting with voters in Quang Phong ward, Thai Hoa town.

At the conference, voters of Quang Phong ward expressed their confidence and excitement at the results achieved from the anti-corruption fight of the Party and State, many serious cases have been exposed. Voters hope that in the coming time, the Party and State will continue to fight fiercely, strictly handle corrupt subjects, and clean up the apparatus from the central to local levels. In addition, voters suggested that it is necessary to use and arrange appropriately cadres with both virtue and talent.
Referring to the policy of streamlining the government system in the spirit of Resolution 6 of the Central Committee, voters reflected that the apparatus at the block and hamlet levels is cumbersome but its operational efficiency is not high.
Expressing concern about the complicated developments of dirty food in the market, voters asked authorities to increase the frequency of inspection and supervision, and impose strong enough sanctions to deter and handle the situation.
Voters requested the National Assembly and relevant agencies to strengthen inspection and handling of cases of falsifying war invalid records, shortcomings in textbook reform; increase allowances for grassroots cadres; reduce the age of receiving old-age benefits; resolve benefits for people with revolutionary contributions; shortcomings in the treatment of kindergarten nurses (catering staff);...

Acknowledging the voters’ interest in the fight against corruption, comrade Phan Dinh Trac affirmed that the fight will not stop, but will continue to expand and become more drastic. Through this, the Party Central Committee Secretary requested that people strengthen and promote the function of supervising cadres and participating in Party building.

Explaining the situation of fake records for enjoying benefits and policies, Party Central Committee Secretary Phan Dinh Trac said that recently, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has conducted a general review of records of meritorious people with three main purposes: promptly resolving benefits for those who are eligible for policies, handling and collecting cases of incorrect benefits, and adjusting policies to suit the practical situation.
Comrade Phan Dinh Trac suggested that voters promote the spirit of denunciation and work with authorities to prevent and eliminate the situation of falsifying documents.
Regarding other issues, the National Assembly Delegation noted and promised to submit them to the National Assembly Standing Committee at the next session.
