Ministry of Education and Training inspects universal preschool education for 5-year-old children in Thai Hoa

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the program to inspect the universalization of preschool education (PCGDMN) for 5-year-old children in Nghe An province, on the morning of April 27, the working group of the Ministry of Education and Training inspected the universalization of preschool education (PCGDMN) for 5-year-old children in Thai Hoa town.

After 5 years of implementing the Project on PCGDMN for 5-year-old children, Thai Hoa town has achieved many important results. Notably, the system of preschool schools and classes has been increasingly consolidated and developed reasonably, 10/10 schools have facilities to ensure child care and education. 100% of teachers, staff and managers have qualified qualifications or higher.

As of May 2015, 100% of managers and teachers have enjoyed the prescribed policies and have been truly assured in their work. Child care and education have been increasingly improved, reducing the rate of malnourished children from over 5% in the past to 4.7% today.

By 2015, the rate of mobilizing 5-year-old children to go to school reached 99.9%, and was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting the standards of PCGDMN for 5-year-old children from 2013, 2014 and 2015. In Thai Hoa town, the delegation inspected Tay Hieu Kindergarten and Hoa Hieu Kindergarten.

The working delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training acknowledged the results that Thai Hoa town achieved in implementing primary education for 5-year-old children; highly appreciated the facilities, learning conditions at schools, and good preparation of documents during the inspection process.

The inspection team suggested that in the coming time, Thai Hoa town needs to do a good job of planning the campuses of some kindergartens; build playgrounds for children according to standards that are friendly to the natural environment. The town's Department of Education and Training needs to review and advise the People's Committee to do a good job of recruiting, contracting and providing policies for teachers.
