Voters of Quy Chau district propose to speed up the implementation of Resolution No. 88 of the National Assembly
(Baonghean.vn) - Proposing to National Assembly deputies and voters of Quy Chau district to propose that the National Assembly and the Government pay attention to allocating resources in a timely manner to implement 3 target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, new rural construction, especially the socio-economic development program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas according to Resolution No. 88 of the National Assembly.

Concern about land production for people
At the meeting with voters, on behalf of the National Assembly deputies, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee reported to voters the results of the 3rd Session of the 15th National Assembly.
It emphasized that the results of the session affirmed that the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Prime Minister, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and relevant agencies and organizations always listen to the opinions of voters and the People, proactively and actively coordinate to promptly make important decisions, effectively resolve practical issues, remove difficulties and obstacles, contribute to the recovery and socio-economic development of the country; demonstrating that the National Assembly always represents the wisdom of the entire people, constantly innovates, contributes and acts for the interests of voters, the People and the country.

In the spirit of democracy, frankness and responsibility, voters of 4 communes reflected and proposed many thoughts and aspirations.
Voter Lu Thi Mai - Secretary of Chau Thuan Commune Party Committee reflected on many issues arising from practice. Currently, the economic development orientation of the locality is cultivation and livestock raising, in which livestock raising is concentrated, moving barns away from houses. However, the production area and land of the people are small; therefore, it is recommended that the authorities consider the local reality to resolve the issue.
This voter also reflected that Chau Thuan commune has nearly 100% ethnic minorities with a poverty and near-poverty rate of 70% in the locality and the commune is particularly disadvantaged; requested that all levels pay attention to having investment policies and mechanisms to build transport infrastructure and cultural facilities in the villages, creating a place for people to have healthy cultural and sports activities.

Also concerned about production land, voter Lo Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Chau Thang commune proposed that the Central Government have a policy to allow people to improve depleted natural forest areas to serve economic development, improve income and living standards for people in ethnic minority areas; at the same time, increase the payment for forest environmental services and forest protection and conservation according to Decree No. 75 of the Government.
Voter Lo Van Thanh proposed that competent authorities ensure policies for students from commune 135 to transfer to communes not in region 135 due to school mergers.
The issue that voters of the four communes focused on proposing was related to land and forest allocation and implementing policies for ethnic minority mountainous areas, creating conditions for people to develop the economy and improve their income.
In addition, some voters proposed studying increasing allowances for part-time workers in villages and hamlets; policies for frontline workers...

In addition to the opinions of voters of the communes, at the meeting, Mr. Lo Thanh Luan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee also proposed that the National Assembly and the Government pay attention to timely allocating resources to implement 3 target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, new rural construction, especially the socio-economic development program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas according to Resolution No. 88 of the National Assembly.
On the other hand, the National Assembly and the Government need to have specific policies to develop the socio-economy for the four communes in the safety zone; allocate capital to continue implementing the Ban Mong irrigation project which has not been completed after 13 years of implementation.
Pay attention to good management of investment resources
At the end of the conference, National Assembly delegate Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee received recommendations and feedback from voters in communes and districts; promised to synthesize and send them to the National Assembly, Government, ministries, central branches and the province for resolution.
Mr. Vi Van Son also directly explained the opinions reflecting on the policies for those working in villages and hamlets; the allocation of capital to implement 3 national target programs, including the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, noting that the district should focus on strictly managing capital sources when allocated, ensuring effective promotion.

Regarding the Ban Mong Irrigation Project, Mr. Vi Van Son accepted the district's recommendations and at the same time requested Quy Chau district to pay attention and focus on site clearance work to ensure the promotion of this project's implementation.
