Yen Thanh voters propose to increase allowances for village and hamlet officials
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meeting with voters of the National Assembly Delegation before the 6th session, 15th term, voters of Ma Thanh commune reflected many contents, including the proposal to increase allowances for village and hamlet cadres.
On the morning of September 26, in Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, the 15th National Assembly Delegation, including Mr. Pham Phu Binh - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An, had a meeting with voters, combined with a thematic meeting before the 6th session.
Also attending were representatives of Yen Thanh district leaders, Ma Thanh commune and many voters.

At the meeting, Mr. Pham Phu Binh informed about the content and program of the 6th National Assembly session with many important issues related to the country's socio-economic development.
The National Assembly will pass 9 draft laws and give opinions on 8 other draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues and the state budget for 2023 and 2024; consider mid-term assessment reports on the implementation of the 5-year plans for the 2021-2025 period on socio-economic development, economic restructuring, medium-term public investment, national finance and borrowing and repayment of public debt.

Mr. Pham Phu Binh also announced the contents of the recommendations and reflections of Yen Thanh voters before and after the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly. The provincial National Assembly delegation has compiled 04 opinions and recommendations of Yen Thanh district voters to forward to the competent authority for resolution and response. To date, 4/4 recommendations have been responded to.
At the meeting, voters of Ma Thanh communesaid that more and more village and hamlet cadres are resigning because the support allowance for block and hamlet cadres is low, not enough to support their families. People are also wondering and do not understand clearly about the issues of buying health insurance (why students are not allowed to buy according to their household).

In the land sector, voters of Ma Thanh commune reported difficulties in finding land for leveling and completing procedures for issuing "red books", and the paperwork and procedures are still cumbersome and complicated.
The funding for new rural construction and new rural development is still low, and people still contribute a lot; it is recommended that all levels and sectors have regulations to closely monitor the construction of new rural areas, avoiding chasing after unreal achievements...

At the conference, leaders of Yen Thanh district and representatives of the National Assembly Delegation responded to issues within their jurisdiction that voters reflected.

The National Assembly delegates accepted the opinions and forwarded them to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution.
