(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 5, at Chau Thai commune, National Assembly deputies at constituency No. 2 met with voters of Nam Son, Bac Son, Chau Ly, Chau Quang and Chau Thai communes of Quy Hop district.

Delegate Vi Van Son - Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee informed voters about the expected program and content of the second session of the 15th National Assembly.

Taking place from October 20 to November 13, 2021, the upcoming session is expected to be divided into two sessions, organized online and in person. The National Assembly will consider and approve two draft laws and three draft resolutions, including a resolution on a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province.

In addition, the second session of the 15th National Assembly spent time reviewing and commenting on five draft laws, as well as reviewing and studying socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues.

Delegate Vi Van Son also reported to voters on the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the National Assembly deputies in the delegation since the first session until now, perfecting the organization and activities of the XV National Assembly Delegation, participating in the work of law making and important projects and proposals under the authority of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee, conducting contact with voters after the first session and receiving citizens, classifying and handling petitions, etc.

At the conference, voters from five communes in Quy Hop district expressed their agreement with the proposed program and content of the upcoming session of the National Assembly, and at the same time sent their thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly deputies and raised a number of concerns and recommendations within the authority of the district and commune levels.

Voter Vi Xuan Tien - Chairman of the Elderly Association of Chau Thai commune said that adjusting the age to enjoy the elderly regime from 80 to 75 years old with the condition that the household is poor, near-poor, or in an especially difficult economic area is not appropriate, but should be applied without distinction between poor and near-poor households...

Voter Vi Van Phuc - Secretary of the Party Committee of Nam Son commune proposed to continue implementing the policy of closing forests and increasing support for people compared to the current support level.

Meanwhile, voter Vi Van Thuyen - San village, Chau Thai commune proposed that the province continue to have a plan to support citizens returning from the South. In addition, in this locality, recently there have been a number of cases of borrowing capital from banks to prepare for export to Taiwan through some businesses but were postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Now, they request that the businesses refund the money to pay back the loan to the bank.

Voter Cao Van Sy - head of Hoc Moi hamlet, Chau Thai commune, said that recently, Quy Hop district in general and Chau Thai commune in particular have received attention from the State regarding electricity, roads, schools, and stations, but the reality is that over time, some roads have quickly deteriorated.

A number of issues under the authority were specifically explained by representatives of provincial departments and branches at the conference. Leaders of Quy Hop district also clarified the contents in the fields of electricity, land and policies.
