Vinh University announces decisions to appoint Professor and Associate Professor positions
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 31, the Vinh University Party Committee held a conference to review the Party building work in 2019 and deploy directions and tasks for 2020. At the conference, the decision to appoint 3 officials to the titles of Professor and Associate Professor was announced; the list of 28 officials receiving academic degrees and doctoral degrees was announced.
Strengthening Party building work
In 2019, the Party Committee of Vinh University continued to direct the training activities of the University to achieve many important results. Including the good organization of department heads' conferences; inspections and supervision of teaching activities. Internship, pedagogical practice, and final internship activities achieved high results. Continuing to implement the Project to build and develop a regular university training program approaching CDIO in the period of 2016 - 2020.

The school has also organized many activities to improve pedagogical capacity such as organizing training and fostering for 2,931 key general education teachers of the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh to prepare for the implementation of the new general education program.
The conference also pointed out the limitations, shortcomings, causes and solutions. Regarding the direction of activities in 2020, the Vinh University Party Committee proposed 10 key tasks. In which, it focused on directing the promotion of studying, thoroughly grasping and organizing the implementation of directives and resolutions of the Central and Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Le Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, acknowledged the results of the Vinh University Party Committee in 2019. At the same time, he requested the Vinh University Party Committee to continue promoting democracy in leadership and management; strengthen the direction of political and ideological work, pay more attention to investing in Party building work; continue to innovate content and form to improve the quality of Party activities; strictly implement the principles of self-criticism and criticism; continue to reorganize the apparatus to create consensus in development.
Appointment to the title of Professor, Associate Professor
At the Conference, Vinh University launched the school's Science and Technology Development Fund with initial support from individuals and organizations of 240 million VND.
