Vinh University awards scientific research students

On May 17, Vinh University held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day and summarize and award the 2018 Vinh University student scientific research award.

Vinh University Student Scientific Research Award is an award for scientific research and creativity of students; it is a measure of training quality, contributing to promoting the scientific research movement of students.

The award is also a source of encouragement and motivation for students to actively propose specific ideas, solutions, and new inventions, contributing to improving the quality of education and training and developing the country.

This year’s award attracted 47 entries in the preliminary round and the Scientific Council selected 13 entries for the final round. In the final round, representatives of the research groups reported their results to the council and answered questions from the members.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the work "Morphological characteristics of Goby species classification".Acentrogobius Bleeker, 1874 andOxyurichthys Bleeker, 1874 at the coastal estuary of Nghe An province"; awarded Second Prize to 7 works; awarded Third Prize to 5 works.
