Promoting the role and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people

In the 2015-2020 term, on the basis of closely following the goals and tasks set out in the Congress Resolution; strictly implementing the direction of the local Party Committee and authorities as well as the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Command Party Committee, the Hung Nguyen District Military Party Committee has done a good job of advising and implementing military and defense tasks; building a national defense foundation; and building a strong defense zone.

Notably, during the term, the Party Committee advised and organized district-level defense area drills (2017) with excellent results; directed 23/23 communes and towns to conduct high-quality defense combat drills, natural disaster prevention, and search and rescue.

Along with that is the consultation on building a comprehensively strong foundation, the safety cluster is increasingly going into depth. Up to now, 100% of communes and towns have achieved safety and mastery, of which 19 units have achieved comprehensive strength.

The Party Committee has also led and directed the improvement of training quality, qualifications, and high combat readiness of the district's armed forces, proactively grasped the situation, and not been passive in all situations; taken care of the work of building militia and self-defense forces, and the work of recruiting young people to join the army, and achieved the targets every year.

Social policy work, military rear areas, and resolving post-war backlog policies were also focused on. The unit reviewed and paid according to Decision 62 to 572 subjects with an amount of more than 2.4 billion VND and according to Decision 42 to 10,012 subjects with nearly 23 billion VND.

The Party Committee continues to focus on and closely direct the Party building work. Political and ideological education for cadres, party members, and defense workers is emphasized. The Party Committee effectively implements the direction of the Standing Committee of the Military Region Party Committee on building the "3 good, 3 no" Party cell and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee on building the "3 good, 4 no" Party cell. The Party Committee has been classified as Excellent in completing its tasks for 2 consecutive years (2018, 2019).

Mass mobilization work is taken care of with many specific and practical solutions and measures, promoting the completion of political tasks as well as consolidating and promoting the role and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Pham Van Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Hung Nguyen District Military Party Committee in carrying out political tasks as well as Party building during the past term.

Affirming the favorable factors and the difficulties and challenges that are arising, Colonel Pham Van Dong suggested that the District Military Party Committee should continue to thoroughly grasp the strategies, policies and resolutions of the superiors related to military - national defense, militia and self-defense forces for implementation; improve the quality of grasping, forecasting, and correctly assessing the situation, promptly advising and closely coordinating with sectors, forces and localities to proactively prevent and resolutely and skillfully handle complicated situations, and not be passive and surprised.

The Party Committee also needs to proactively and synchronously implement solutions to build a comprehensively strong armed force; proactively and sensitively fight against wrong, hostile, and opportunistic views and perceptions; proactively coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to strengthen the all-people national defense and the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture in the area.

Along with that, continue to lead and direct the building of the district armed forces to truly be a fighting army, a working army and a production labor army; truly a core force in military - defense work, preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty; build a strong local political base, contributing to maintaining political stability, creating a favorable environment for construction and development.

Implementing the election regulations within the Party and in a democratic, public and transparent atmosphere, the congress conducted the election of the Executive Committee of the Military Party Committee of Hung Nguyen district, term 2020 - 2025, consisting of 5 comrades.
