Stabbed his wife and then committed suicide by taking medicine in kindergarten
His wife had just left the child with the kindergarten teacher when Vinh suddenly rushed in and stabbed his wife many times, then drank pesticide and committed suicide.
The incident happened at around 7am on July 19 at a kindergarten in zone 6, Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province.

At the time, Ms. Pham Thi Phuong (35 years old, residing in Dau Tieng district, Binh Duong) took her young child to school to drop off. When she had just left her child with the teacher and turned around, her husband, Tran Phuong Vinh (37 years old, residing in Binh Duong) suddenly rushed forward and stabbed her many times with a knife, causing the victim to collapse on the spot.
Vinh then poured a bottle of medicine into his mouth and ran to the third floor of the school where he passed out. Both husband and wife were quickly rushed to the emergency room in critical condition.
Upon receiving the news, Thu Dau Mot City police arrived to take witness statements and examine the scene. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
