Wanted suspect used knife to fight back against police and was caught

After a period of monitoring a strange subject with suspicious behavior, hiding in Quang Tien ward, showing signs of illegal drug trafficking, the Investigation Police Team of Thai Hoa town police concluded that this was a wanted subject of Quynh Luu district police for illegal drug trafficking.

The subject is named Vu Minh Viet (born 1983), residing in Hamlet 11, Quynh Hau Commune, Quynh Luu District. Previously, on February 4, 2016, after being convicted, taking advantage of his time on bail, Vu Minh Viet escaped.

Accordingly, at 4:00 p.m. on May 13, at Song Hieu motel, Tay Ho 1 block, Quang Tien ward, the force made an arrest. Being a dangerous criminal, when he knew he was being surrounded and arrested, he boldly used a knife to fiercely fight back against the police, but he could not escape the pursuit of Thai Hoa town police.
