In the joyful atmosphere of the opening day of the new school year 2022 - 2023, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee beat the opening drum at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and presented flowers and gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to the school.

In the 2021-2022 school year, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted continues to achieve many proud results. The school has 79 national excellent students, 13 students participating in the second round of international regional competitions, including 6 first prizes, 16 second prizes, 32 third prizes, and 25 consolation prizes.

Notably, Truong Van Quoc Bao won the Asia-Pacific Informatics Gold Medal, the International Informatics Olympiad Silver Medal and Hoang Tien Nguyen won the International Mathematics Olympiad Bronze Medal.

Regarding the high school graduation exam results, 100% of the school's students had good and excellent graduation exam results; the average score of all subjects ranked first in the province, of which 7 students were commended by the People's Committee of Nghe An province with the highest combined exam results.

The school's students have participated and achieved high results in many national competitions and intellectual playgrounds: 1 national first prize in the contest "Youth studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in 2021; 1 third prize in the final round of the 21st "Road to Olympia" contest; 1 encouragement prize in the world office informatics; 1 project won the fourth prize in national science and technology,... Along with that, many extracurricular activities and student clubs are highly appreciated.

On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to teachers who have achieved achievements in training and guiding students to win medals at regional and international competitions; training students to win prizes at the National Excellent Student Competition in the 2021-2022 school year; awarded 20 scholarships of the "Support to School" Program, each worth 500,000 VND to students with difficult circumstances who are good at studying.

With outstanding achievements in the National Excellent Student and National Science and Technology Competition for the 2021-2022 school year, 38 teachers who directly trained excellent students were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
