Consider the specificity when merging hamlets, villages, and communes
Voter Le Van Huong, Chau Binh commune, raised the difficulties in building new rural areas in the commune and proposed solutions to support the locality.
Mr. Ha Van Hoai, a voter of Chau Hoi commune, suggested considering the merger of communes in mountainous areas such as Chau Hoi and Chau Nga. Because these two communes are more than 35 km apart, merging them would make it difficult for people to travel; in addition, he suggested that the National Assembly consider increasing the retirement age for officials and civil servants working in mountainous communes.

Voter Nguyen The Danh, Chau Binh commune, requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to recalculate reasonable electricity prices for the people. Because if the electricity price increases, many families without conditions will face difficulties.
At the conference, voters said that the forest land area transferred to localities to hand over to the people is protective forest land, or poor quality land, so there needs to be a reasonable policy when handing over forestry land to the people to create conditions for production and improve their lives.

Based on the characteristics of geography and population, it is expected that the entire Quy Chau district will reduce 69 hamlets and villages to 77 hamlets and villages. In addition, from now until 2021, Quy Chau will not merge the two communes of Chau Hoi and Chau Nga.

Regarding the merger of hamlets, villages and communes in mountainous areas, the Secretary of the Party Central Committee said that it is necessary to take into account the specific factors of distance and geography. Because the goal of the merger is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management in the area. The National Assembly's Resolution on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in the 2019-2021 period also mentioned this issue.
