Provincial People's Council supervises the implementation of policies and mechanisms in Quy Hop district

In the morning, the delegation directly supervised the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's Resolutions on mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development in Chau Dinh commune.

In the afternoon, working with the delegation, the leader of the District People's Committee said that at this time, Quy Hop has been implementing 12 Resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council. By the end of 2019, the total budget for implementing works and projects according to the Resolution was more than 106.9 billion VND, of which the budget from the Central budget was 40.529 billion VND, the provincial budget was 49.979 billion VND, the budget from the district and commune budgets was 16.476 billion VND.

The Resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council when implemented in Quy Hop have had a strong impact on the local socio-economic development; contributed to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, improved the quality of life and helped people develop their family's economy.

However, during the implementation process, Quy Hop district also encountered many difficulties. That is, difficulties in funding to support the construction of infrastructure for industrial clusters; there are many policies to support agricultural and rural development but not enough resources to implement; procedures to implement some types of policies are still cumbersome, causing difficulties in implementation...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Viet Duong highly appreciated the results achieved by Quy Hop district in the process of implementing the Provincial People's Council Resolutions. However, Quy Hop district has only implemented 12/16 Resolutions. Quy Hop district needs to clearly assess the impact of the Resolutions in the locality to propose appropriate additions, amendments and replacements of the Resolutions.

Comrade Hoang Viet Duong requested Quy Hop district to review the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council being implemented in the area, absorb the opinions of the monitoring delegation to supplement the district's report. Direct departments and offices to unify resource data with departments and branches to properly assess the implementation results of local Resolutions.
