More than 2,000 people donated blood at the festival "Red Journey - Red Drops of Nghe An"
(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese blood", on the morning of July 11, in Vinh City, the Steering Committee for Blood Donation of Nghe An province organized the 6th voluntary blood donation festival in 2018.

In order for the blood donation festival to take place effectively, from early morning, the Organizing Committee fully and thoughtfully prepared human resources and provided procedural instructions so that everyone could arrange their time to donate blood safely, conveniently and quickly.

According to the plan, about 2,000 people were invited to participate to collect from 700 to 800 units of blood today. Along with the previous blood donation campaign in Hung Nguyen, it is expected that this time, the Red Journey program in Vinh City, Nghe An will mobilize about 1,200 units of blood, an increase of 200 units of blood compared to the campaign in 2017.

Nghe An is one of the 6 provinces in the country that successfully organizes the annual “Red Journey” program to call on the community to join hands in donating blood to save lives. This is also the 6th year that the Central Steering Committee for Humanitarian Blood Donation has organized the program in Nghe An. Through each organization, thanks to good mobilization and propaganda, Nghe An has always mobilized and exceeded the set number of blood units.
