Early morning of August 13, 2020, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control informed: The first test result for the patient's sample in Nghia Dan - who returned from the epidemic area without making a medical declaration - was available. The sample was negative for Covid-19.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: On August 12, Nghia Dan Medical Center received a patient with fever named TVL, from Nghia Loc Commune, Nghia Dan District. Through investigation, it was found that he returned from Da Nang on July 26 but did not make a medical declaration. On August 5, Mr. L had a fever and on August 7, he went to a private clinic for examination without going to the medical station. After returning from Da Nang, Mr. L came into contact with many people.

Immediately, Nghia Dan Medical Center took patient TVL's sample for testing. The patient was transferred to isolation and treatment at the Northwest Regional General Hospital. In the afternoon and evening of August 12, Nghia Dan Medical Center directed disinfection spraying at the patient's family and investigated close contacts./.
