Opening of the Thai Hoa town defense area exercise in 2023

The Thai Hoa town defense area exercise took place for 2.5 days with the theme: "Moving armed forces into combat readiness, moving localities into defense readiness; organizing preparation and practicing combat, firmly protecting the town defense area" was carried out in 3 stages including: Moving armed forces into combat readiness, moving localities into defense readiness; Organizing preparation for defensive operations, practicing defensive operations, mobilizing and receiving the district reserve mobilization company; Practicing martial law and curfew in the area.

In his opening speech, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: Defense zone drills are the highest and most comprehensive form of training; have specific and highly comprehensive characteristics, related to all political, socio-economic, defense and security fields of the locality and this is one of the important contents in the activities and construction of defense zones.

Thereby, continuing to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 28 of the Politburo (10th tenure) and the Party's viewpoints and the State's legal policies on national defense and security; promoting the combined strength and operating the synchronous mechanism of the entire political system; improving the advisory capacity of military agencies, police, departments, agencies, branches and organizations. Ensuring timely and effective leadership, direction, operation and handling of situations, maintaining political security and social order and safety, creating favorable conditions for local socio-economic development.

For the exercise to be successful, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested that the forces participating in the exercise need to uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, build will, determination, solidarity and high unity to carry out and complete the assigned tasks well.

During the rehearsal process, the roles need to be calm and confident; incorporate the content that has been trained by the Provincial Rehearsal Steering Committee, to apply and resolve situations assumed by the Provincial Rehearsal Steering Committee and director, ensuring adherence to principles, consistent with the reality of the town; avoid subjectivity, and taking the rehearsal content lightly.

Along with that, strictly comply with regulations on information security, strictly manage documents during the exercise, ensure absolute safety of people, weapons and equipment; do a good job of propaganda and emulation and reward in the practice exercise. After completing the exercise task, it is necessary to organize an assessment, draw experiences in a realistic and objective manner in the organization of leadership and management of the Party Committee, government and the advisory capacity of the town's agencies, departments, and branches. From there, improve the quality and efficiency in building and organizing defense zone activities, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
