Nghe An young man slits female hair salon employee's throat, seriously injures 70-year-old woman
The suspect held a knife to the neck of a female hair salon employee, threatening her. A 70-year-old woman rushed out to stop him and was seriously injured by the suspect. He revealed his name to be Nguyen Van Luc, from Quynh Tam commune, Quynh Luu district (Nghe An).
Nguyen Van Luc confessed that he had previously worked as a worker for a factory in Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City, and had recently quit his job. Because he had no job and no money, Luc went around looking for an opportunity to steal property. When Luc went to the barber shop at 390 Nguyen Luong Bang Street, Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, he saw that the door was open and there was only one female employee inside, so he went in and pretended to buy sex to rob the property.

Luc agreed with a female employee named Trang for a "happy" price of 200,000 VND and agreed to go into the inner room. After entering the room, Luc suddenly pulled out a knife to control Trang to rob her, but she screamed loudly. At this time, the homeowner, Mrs. Le Thi Phuong (70 years old), who was behind, heard and ran to stop her. Luc, holding a knife in his hand, rushed forward and stabbed Mrs. Phuong in the chest. The victim was taken to the emergency room and is currently in critical condition.

While struggling with the robber, Trang was injured by a knife in the hand. She then escaped and called for help. Luc fled behind the house, about 500 meters from the scene. After receiving information from the people, Lien Chieu District Police surrounded and controlled the subject.
Currently, Lien Chieu District Police (Da Nang City) are continuing to take statements from suspects to clarify the case.
