Nghe An: Arrested 4 subjects, seized a large amount of drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - A large-scale drug trafficking ring has just been busted by Yen Thanh District Police, arresting 4 suspects, seizing 10 heroin cakes, 9 kg of crystal meth, and 20,000 synthetic drug pills.
After a period of monitoring the movement, at 4:00 a.m. on November 28, Yen Thanh District Police successfully broke up the case, arresting Nguyen Dinh Giang (born 1960), residing in Hung Son Commune, Anh Son District.

Conducting an emergency search of the suspect's residence, police discovered a large quantity of drugs hidden under tiles including: 10 heroin cakes, 9 kg of crystal meth, and 20,000 synthetic drug pills.
Expanding the investigation, the Task Force continued to arrest 3 subjects related to this network, including: Hoang Doanh Diep (born 1981), residing in Hong Son commune (Do Luong), Nguyen Cong Cuong (born 1983), residing in Thinh Thanh commune and Pham Van Hung (born 1977), residing in My Thanh commune, all in Yen Thanh district.

The investigation team continued to seize more than 200 grams of heroin and nearly 1,000 synthetic drug pills along with two cars used to transport drugs.
At the investigation agency, Nguyen Dinh Giang confessed to buying the above drugs from Laos, bringing them to Vietnam, and then transporting them to the northern and southern provinces for consumption.
